During my recent stay, I loved how close the hotel was to Iowa State University and the scenic Brookside Park, making my city strolls both easy and enjoyable. I appreciated having a clean room and the option to bring my dog along while I navigated the nearby attractions and parks.

The local eats nearby were fantastic! We found some gems serving locally caught fish that made our taste buds dance. Plus, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay much more enjoyable. Can't forget the amazing fitness center too!

However, we did have some hiccups. The toilet overflowed and we had to DIY our own repairs. The check-in mishap with another guest walking in — not cool at all! Little things like that can create a chaotic vibe.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect for exploring the ISU campus. We even brought our pets along, which made the trip feel complete. The bartender, Laura, was amazing and recommended the best wings I've ever had, making our evening truly enjoyable.

My children wished there had been more kid-friendly dining options. The breakfast offerings were limited and could use an upgrade for families traveling with little ones.

We had a pleasant stay while attending an event at the Iowa State Center. The hotel was conveniently located and the beautiful lobby welcomed us right away. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements for our precious dog, which was a big relief for our family.

My children wished for a more pet-friendly area outside the hotel for walks. A designated, safe space would really improve the experience for families traveling with pets.

i had a nice stay at radisson. the king room was comfortable and really clean. it’s super close to ISU’s campus, making it convenient for us. plus, the well-equipped fitness center helped me keep up with my workouts. the staff was outstanding and very helpful.

The room was clean and well prepared for me to stay there. The fridge was huge help as I had groceries to complement my week. And the breakfast I got from the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good, way better than I expected.

It wasn't exactly cheap but it was acceptable.

Comfy stay with a few hiccups

Spent 5 nights here and the room was really clean. I had my dog, and we both had plenty of space. The fridge was a lifesaver with all the groceries. Only downside was the breakfast spot felt kinda empty, but the food was good and reasonably priced. A little noisy with kids during the FFA event though.

The staff at the Radisson in Ames really stood out. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help. My room was clean and the King Room with Sofa Bed was spacious and comfortable. The pillows felt fresh, and I appreciated the extra space with the sofa bed. Also liked the quiet environment, perfect for relaxation. However, some areas need improvement. The breakfast options felt overpriced and not included in my stay. The heating unit in my room was very noisy and old, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The bathroom lighting was too dim, making it difficult to get ready in the morning. Overall, my stay had great moments but could be better with some updates and amenities.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the location is super convenient. Loved the clean rooms and easy check-in!

I enjoyed a fantastic stay with easy access to the beautiful Brookside Park and just a short walk to Iowa State University, where I could soak in the vibrant campus atmosphere and explore its landmarks during my weekend visit.

This hotel fits me perfectly! It offers great amenities like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. On my first visit, the staff assisted me in finding great local eateries. I’ll be back for another city trip!
